About the role

The Patient Dining Associate II at Sentara Martha Jefferson Hospital is responsible for coordinating patient meal service on all units of assigned teams, ensuring adequate training and staffing for service, and reacting to changes to maintain efficient timing and accuracy of services.

Responsibilities

• Catering Associates are adequately trained and units are properly staffed to provide service.
• Menu selections, tray assembly, tray delivery, and pick-up are managed.
• Special requests and needs are addressed.
• Accuracy of physician’s ordered modified diets is ensured.
• React accurately and effectively to all changes to ensure efficient timing of services.

Requirements

• High School Diploma (Required)
• Food Service experience - 4 years (Required)
