Patient Dining Associate

Responsibilities

• Reads the patient menus to patients twice daily.
• Edits patient selections to meet restrictions associated with diet orders.
• Organizes and manages diet orders in a timely and effective manner.
• Develops menu tallies of special requests.
• Must be familiar with dietary restrictions on special, modified diets to ensure optimal patient care and satisfaction.
• Reacts accurately and effectively to all changes to ensure efficiency.
• Assembles trays for patients and deliver meal trays to patient rooms and nursing units.
• Occasionally prepares salads, desserts, beverages and other miscellaneous food items.

Requirements

• Six (6) months of customer service or food service experience.
