Patient Counselor

NVISION® Eye Centers is seeking a Patient Counselor to join our team. This position is primarily responsible for educating and selling services to Ophthalmology patients.

Responsibilities

• Work with patients from the moment they enter the center
• Conduct follow-up calls to ensure patients have a great experience
• Deliver high customer satisfaction (friendly and helpful)
• Build a strong rapport with patients, making them feel welcome, understood, and appreciated
• Overcome obstacles to schedule surgical procedures
• Achieve company-set key performance indicators (average sales price, upgrade and conversion percentage)
• Meet sales quota (incentive compensation plan based on achieving key targets)
• Perform diagnostic tests for LASIK patients
• Show a positive attitude and professional demeanor
• Provide thorough education to patients about pre- and post-operative eye drops and medications
• Respond to all calls, emails, and inquiries promptly

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in patient counseling and/or sales, preferably in Ophthalmology or surgical practice
• Experience in hospitality, retail, or customer service is also a great fit
• High School Diploma or equivalent

• Ability to deliver an exceptional patient experience

Benefits

• USD $20.00 per hour
