Patient Coordinator

About the role

Cambridge Dental Group is a dynamic, high-volume dental practice in Dearborn Heights, Michigan. We are seeking a full-time Patient Coordinator with prior experience in scheduling and insurance.

Responsibilities

• Greet and check in patients
• Clock complex treatment schedules and referrals
• Verify and submit insurance claims
• Collect payments, explain financial policies, and follow up on patient balances
• Maintain accurate patient records and appointment histories
• Serve as a liaison between clinical and administrative teams

Requirements

• 2+ years dental front office experience required
• Experience in a dental office is a must
• Strong knowledge of dental insurance verification and billing (PPO, Medicaid, etc.)
• Familiarity with practice management software (Open Dental preferred)
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Professional, dependable, and confident in a fast-paced environment
