SUMMARY OF POSITION

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Schedule appointments for new and existing patients
  • Register patients upon arrival
  • Congnorate referrals
  • Greets, screens, and directs patients
  • Answers internal and external phone calls in reception area
  • Sort, scan, and electronically file patient reports, consultations, and histories into PACS
  • Assist with monitoring and ordering office supplies as needed
  • Sort and distribute departmental mail
  • Other duties as assigned

JOB SPECIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma required
  • Associate of Science Degree preferred
  • Two – four years of clinical front office experience preferred
  • Experience with medical terminology preferred
