Patient Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Collect and process payments
• Import authorizations received by mail and follow up with parents via calls
• Schedule treatment appointments and recall appointments
• Confirm treatment appointments
• Handle incoming calls throughout the day
• Process No Show Reports
• Schedule patients from the ASAP List
• Check patients in and out
• Verify and update patient information on file
• Verify eligibility with insurance
• Call patients when they are past their 10-minute wait time
• Confirm and schedule observation appointments
• Complete daily sign-in sheet tasks
• Scan and enter NPP (Notice of Privacy Practices) into the system
• Regular, predictable attendance is required
• Ability to get along and work effectively with others

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 6+ months of healthcare/dental front office experience is preferred
• Bilingual in Spanish is preferred
