  • Participate in local events, including school screenings and presentations, to promote a positive image of our practice.
  • Engage in morning huddles, recognize peers, and highlight examples of customer focus and collaboration.

Responsibilities

  • Provide quality customer service to patients and parents at check-in and check-out.
  • Verify patient insurance eligibility and service limits.
  • Deliver compassionate care to every patient.
  • Greet parents and patients upon arrival and departure, keeping waiting parents informed of appointment progress.
  • Maintain a clean and tidy waiting area and front desk.
  • Verify patient insurance eligibility prior to appointments and ensure accuracy in patient records.
  • Record and communicate service limits to the clinical team before treatment.
  • Prepare patient files (pull records, update information, verify insurance and service limits) before appointments.
  • Coordinate with the Clinical Team Leader and Doctors to offer same-day care opportunities.
  • Assist in meeting office financial targets by keeping hygiene and operative schedules full.
  • Schedule follow-up and six-month recall appointments.
  • Answer incoming calls, direct callers appropriately, and take messages when needed.
  • Make outbound calls to confirm appointments, reschedule no-shows, and follow up on incomplete treatments.
  • Refile all patient records at the end of the day.
  • Adhere to government regulations, company standards, and compliance programs with the highest integrity.
  • Verify, inform, and collect out-of-pocket balances from patients prior to treatment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Graduation from a senior high school or GED equivalent.
  • Office experience in a dentist’s or physician’s office (preferred).
  • Experience with children’s dentistry (preferred).
