Responsibilities

  • Verify patient insurance eligibility and service limits.
  • Deliver compassionate care to every patient and greet families as they enter or leave the office.
  • Keep waiting parents informed about appointment progress and maintain a clean front desk and waiting area.
  • Ensure patient insurance details are correct in the Boomerang file and service limits are communicated to the clinical team before treatment.
  • Prepare patient files (pull records, update information, verify insurance) before appointments.
  • Coordinate with the Clinical Team Leader and Doctors to offer same-day care opportunities.
  • Assist in meeting office financial targets by keeping hygiene and operative schedules full.
  • Schedule follow-up and six-month recall appointments.
  • Answer incoming calls, direct callers appropriately, and take messages when needed.

  • Refile all patient records at the end of the day.
  • Adhere to government regulations, company standards, and compliance programs with the highest integrity.
  • Verify, inform, and collect out-of-pocket balances from patients before treatment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Office experience in a dentist’s or physician’s office (preferred).
  • Experience with children’s dentistry (preferred).

Benefits

  • Quarterly bonuses based on office performance.
  • Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401K with match, flexible spending accounts, paid time off, and company holidays.
