Patient Contact Center Representative
About the Role
The Access Care Representative performs a wide variety of activities related to scheduling, registration, financial compliance, and customer support for all services performed. The Access Care areas act as the entry point. It is the responsibility of an Access Care Representative to promote a caring, professional manner while collecting accurate and complete data necessary for billing and account processing.
Primary department: Physician Practice Operations, UHS Vestal Campus.

- Maintaining a caring and professional manner
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent (minimum required)
- Two years’ experience in a medical environment with working knowledge of insurance applicable to outpatient medical care (preferred)
- Proficient computer skills
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Experience with scheduling
Qualifications
- Certified Healthcare Access Associate (CHAA) (preferred)
- Current driver’s license (preferred)
Pay
$17.05 - $22.17 per hour, depending on experience.
Schedule
Day shift.
