About the role
The Chelsea hospital is a 103-bed, not-for-profit hospital established in 1970 leading the way in patient safety in satisfaction. Located in Chelsea, Michigan, Chelsea Hospital is a joint venture between Trinity Health and University of Michigan Health.
Responsibilities
- Provides continuous observation and monitoring of assigned patients.
- Notifies nursing staff if the patient requires assistance, control or other nursing intervention.
- Knowledgeable and supportive of patients, the confidentiality of HIPAA protected information, and other related hospital policies.
- Remains with and observes the assigned patient(s) at all times.
- Immediately alerts nursing staff if the patient requires assistance, exhibits unusual behavior or other nursing interventions.
Requirements
- Minimum of a High school diploma.
- Ability to maintain professionalism and self-control in difficult or stressful conditions.
- Ability to maintain attention for long periods of time.

Skills
- Comprehensive understanding of HIPAA regulations.

Pay
- Hourly rate based on experience and qualifications.
Schedule
- Shift Available: 11pm-7:30am.
- Status: Part time, benefit eligible (40 hours per pay period - every two weeks).
