Description

Healthful Stories is a Seattle-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit that conducts in-depth interviews with people living with chronic and complex health conditions. We exist to document the real patient journey: the delays, the barriers, and the turning points in a way that will have the greatest impact on those living with similar illnesses. Getting there starts with finding the right people: individuals willing to share their experiences openly and honestly for the benefit of others navigating similar paths.

Responsibilities

• Build genuine relationships with patient communities, advocacy organizations, and online health networks, opening doors thoughtfully and sustainably.
• Bring experience in community organizing, patient advocacy, health communications, or a related field.
• Show strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Show genuine interest in the patient experience and comfort engaging with health communities online.
• Show familiarity with chronic illness communities — lived experience is welcome and valued.
