About the role
This position is responsible for patient meal service, including menu selections, processing menus, tray assembly, tray delivery and pick-up, disassembling of dirty trays, food preparation, special requests, and in-between meal food delivery. You will maintain cleanliness of trayline stations and equipment, restock the trayline, and communicate patient food issues or concerns to the area dietitian and nutrition supervisor. You will assist the dietitian with fluid intakes and ensure dietary restrictions, modified diets, food allergies, and preferences are met within the guidelines of diet order limitations. Quality service is reflected in internal or external patient satisfaction survey results on your assigned unit. Daily tasks may vary, and routines with specific task times will be provided.

- Perform all assigned tasks accurately, willingly, and on time
- Follow all sanitation procedures per HAACP standards
- Build and deliver patient trays, ensuring adherence to all safety processes
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Equivalent relevant work experience OR 1 year in a TriHealth Nutrition role (in place of minimum education)
- 1–2 years of experience in a related field
- Able to read, perform basic math calculations, and demonstrate reading and writing skills
