Patient Care Technician Progressive Care

About the role

Location: Murfreesboro, TN • Facility: Ascension Saint Thomas Rutherford • Department: Progressive Care • Schedule: PRN Days

Responsibilities

• Direct Patient Care: Assisting with daily living activities (hygiene, mobility, and positioning) to ensure patient comfort and safety.
• Clinical Monitoring: Observing patients for physical or emotional changes and immediately reporting updates to the nursing team.
• Documentation & Compliance: Maintaining accurate patient records and ensuring all care activities are properly logged.
• Environmental Management: Overseeing the cleanliness of patient rooms and the readiness of medical equipment.

Requirements

• Licensure / Certification / Registration: BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Nurse Aide preferred.
• Education: High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required. Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
