Patient Care Technician - Physical Therapy

This position is for our North Lapeer location and requires availability Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

About the role

Under the close supervision of a Physical Therapist, Technicians assist with patient care or patient-related needs. This is a great role for a student looking for healthcare experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist the therapist with patient care
• Perform light clerical duties, including:
  • Scheduling
  • Collecting co-pays
  • Scanning and new patient registration
  • Maintaining overall clinic cleanliness
  • Preparing treatment areas

Requirements

• Ability to communicate well verbally and in writing
• Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy
