About the role
This is a part-time position at our Flint/Burton locations, ideal for a student seeking healthcare experience.
Schedule
Required availability on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Physical Therapist with patient care or patient-related needs under close supervision.
- Perform light clerical duties, including:
- Scheduling appointments
- Collecting co-pays
- Scanning and new patient registration
- Maintaining overall clinic cleanliness
- Preparing treatment areas
Skills and Qualifications
- Ability to communicate well verbally and in writing
- Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy
- Positive attitude and team-player mentality
- Ability to work with diverse groups of people
- Strong multi-tasking and prioritization skills
- Ability to maintain pleasant and professional relationships with patients
