Patient Care Technician (PCT) - Full-Time Nights

About the role

The inpatient rehabilitation hospital is dedicated to providing exceptional and compassionate care to individuals with various medical conditions.

Responsibilities

• Transports patients to and from various treatment areas when necessary
• Assists in moving patients in and out of stretchers and wheelchairs
• Performs services for the patient involving dressing, showering, bathing, and oral feeding
• Answers patient lights and performs services in a timely manner
• Participates in patient turning/repositioning and performs purposeful hourly rounds
• Performs other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Requires hospital experience as a patient care technician, nursing assistant, or experience in a related field such as a medical assistant or actively enrolled nursing student
• Certified BLS or completion within first 90 days of employment required
