Fresenius Medical Care is seeking Patient Care Technicians (PCTs) to support and collaborate with Registered Nurses (RNs) in providing dialysis treatment to several patients at a time. The role involves prepping and testing equipment, reviewing treatment sheets, and opening clinics at 4 am for first shift.
Job Description
Patient Care Technicians support the mission of improving the quality of life of every patient, every day. They assist in the setup and operation of hemodialysis machines, monitor patients' responses to dialysis therapy, and ensure a safe and clean environment. Responsibilities include education, treatment administration, and record keeping.
Success Profile
Successful candidates should have prior customer service, healthcare, and direct patient care experience. They must be passionate about developing deep relationships with patients and improving their quality of life. Strong management skills and prior direct patient care experience are beneficial.
