Overview

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking Patient Care Technicians (PCTs) to support and collaborate with Registered Nurses (RNs) in providing dialysis treatment to several patients at a time. This role involves prepping and testing equipment, reviewing treatment sheets, and opening clinics at 4 am for first shift.

Job Description

PCTs at Fresenius Medical Care support and collaborate with RNs to provide dialysis treatment to multiple patients. They are responsible for setting up and operating hemodialysis machines, preparing and testing equipment, and maintaining a safe and clean working environment. PCTs also educate patients on dialysis-related topics, monitor patients during treatment, and ensure proper documentation of patient care.

Success Profile

To succeed in this role, candidates should have prior direct patient care experience, a combination of technical skills and genuine passion for developing deep relationships with patients, and a genuine interest in improving their quality of life. Experience in customer service, healthcare, and direct patient care is preferred.
