Patient Care Technician - PCT

Overview

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking Patient Care Technicians (PCTs) to support and collaborate with Registered Nurses (RNs) in providing dialysis treatment to several patients at a time. This role involves prepping and testing equipment, reviewing treatment sheets, and opening clinics early in the morning.

Job Description

Patient Care Technicians at Fresenius Medical Care support the dialysis health care team by assisting with patient-specific education, preparing and administering treatments, and ensuring a safe and clean environment. They also assist in training other direct patient care staff and participate in continuous quality improvement activities.

Success Profile

Successful candidates should have prior customer service, healthcare, and direct patient care experience. They should be passionate about developing deep relationships with patients and improving their quality of life. Strong management skills and experience in areas like ICU, PCU, or surgery are beneficial.
