Fresenius Medical Care is seeking a Patient Care Technician (PCT) to support and collaborate with Registered Nurses in providing dialysis treatment to several patients at a time. This role involves prepping and testing equipment, reviewing treatment sheets, and opening clinics at 4 am for first shift.

Job Description

Patient Care Technicians (PCTs) support and collaborate with RNs to provide dialysis treatment to multiple patients at a time. They are responsible for setting up and operating hemodialysis machines, preparing and testing equipment, and maintaining a safe and clean working environment. PCTs also educate patients on dialysis-related topics, monitor patients during treatment, and ensure proper documentation of patient care.

Success Profile

Successful candidates should have prior customer service, healthcare, and direct patient care experience. They should also have a combination of technical skills and genuine passion for developing deep relationships with patients and improving their quality of life.
