Patient Care Technicians (PCTs) support and collaborate with RNs to provide dialysis treatment to multiple patients at a time. This includes prepping and testing equipment, reviewing treatment sheets, and opening clinics early in the morning. PCTs also assist in maintaining a safe and clean working environment and supporting the organization's commitment to the Quality Enhancement Program (QEP).
Success Profile
Successful candidates should have prior customer service, healthcare, and direct patient care experience. They should also have a combination of technical skills and genuine passion for developing deep relationships with patients and improving their quality of life.

Requirements
- High School diploma or GED
- Certified Clinical Hemodialysis Technician (CCHT) certification
- Previous direct patient care experience
- Must meet Center for Medicare/Medicaid Services (CMS)-approved state and/or national certification requirements
- Must have previous dialysis nursing experience or some form of critical care nursing experience
