Patient Care Technician - PCT
Overview
Fresenius Medical Care is seeking Patient Care Technicians (PCTs) to support and collaborate with Registered Nurses (RNs) in providing dialysis treatment to several patients at a time. This role involves prepping and testing equipment, reviewing treatment sheets, and opening clinics at 4 am for the first shift.
Success Profile
PCTs should have a combination of technical skills and genuine passion needed to develop deep relationships with patients and improve their quality of life. Prior customer service, healthcare, and direct patient care experience are required.

Job Description
Functions as part of the dialysis health care team in providing safe and effective dialysis therapy for patients under the direct supervision of a licensed nurse. Responsibilities include assisting with patient education, treatment setup and operation of hemodialysis machines, and maintaining a safe and clean working environment.
Requirements
- High School diploma or G.E.D.
- CMS-approved state and/or national certification required
- Previous patient care experience
- Technical skills and genuine passion for patient care
