Schedule

  • 40 hours weekly: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Pay

  • $9,000 sign-on bonus (terms and conditions apply)

Responsibilities

  • Complete clinical and administrative tasks within the clinic
  • Work alongside the provider to ensure patients are taken care of and the clinic runs smoothly
  • Serve as the first point of patient care within the clinic
  • Room and prepare patients according to clinic-specific checklists or procedures
  • Measure patient weight, height, oxygen saturation, respiration, temperature, pulse (manual and automatic), blood pressure (manual and automatic), and other patient care which can vary by clinic
  • Complete required patient care documentation including medical histories, referral requests, etc.
  • Assist with day-to-day operations as required for optimal patient care, including assisting fellow teammates and providers when necessary

Requirements

Credentialed Medical Assistant

  • High school graduate or GED equivalent (preferred)
  • Credentialed as a Medical Assistant from an approved Munson Healthcare Credentialing Organization
  • BLS certification preferred and must be obtained within 90 days of hire and maintained

Non-Credentialed Medical Assistant

  • High school graduate or GED equivalent (preferred)
  • One year (1) relevant experience working in a physician practice or similar healthcare setting in a provider/patient support role or graduate of a Medical Assistant Program approved by Munson Healthcare
  • BLS certification preferred and must be obtained within 90 days of hire and maintained

Additional Information

  • Munson Healthcare requires all employees be vaccinated or have lab-confirmed immunity for Measles, Mumps, Rubella, and Varicella
  • Munson Healthcare also requires all employees to receive a flu vaccine during the flu season in the year they are hired and annually thereafter, or receive an approved medical or religious exemption
