Qualifications
- MO CNA or attend 5-week PCT Essentials Training program consisting of a combination of in-classroom and 12-hour preceptorship.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
PCT Essentials Training
- Facilitated classroom orientation rather than home-study online learning.
- Time in class to complete some individual on-line learning modules such as BLS (hands-on skill pass off will be completed in class).
- Role playing interaction, escape room learning, simulation, and games to engage learners in the topics presented.
- Topics Covered: Roles and Responsibilities, Communication, Care of the Behavioral Health Patient, Vital Signs, Hygiene Care, Patient Mobility and Transfers, Code Blue.

Job Summary
We are looking for a dedicated Patient Care Technician Ortho Trauma like you to be a part of our team. Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with patient preparation, mobility, transfers, and comfort to support smooth procedures and recovery.
- Providing non-medicated care like dressing changes, skin protection, and use of supportive devices.
- Keeping patient areas, operating rooms, and common spaces clean, organized, and stocked to maintain safety and efficiency.
- Managing supplies, equipment, and environmental logs to keep the team ready and protect patients through infection control.
- Communicating kindly with patients, families, and the care team while promoting safety and quality efforts.
