Patient Care Technician II - Part Time

This role provides direct and indirect patient care under supervision, assisting registered nurses with delegated procedures and ensuring patient safety and comfort. Qualifications include: a high school diploma or equivalent, at least 1 year of recent experience in patient care (preferably Med/Surg), and current certification as a CNA I or II, PCT, and CPR. Key skills: effective communication, basic computer proficiency, medication handling, and the ability to perform vital signs, specimen collection, and routine procedures while maintaining infection control standards. Responsibilities encompass assisting with activities of daily living, monitoring patients, recording data, supporting procedures like IV management, and maintaining a clean environment. Additional duties involve patient transfers, documentation using electronic records, and participating in quality improvement, safety initiatives, and team collaboration.
