Patient Care Technician - Emergency Services Night Shift 0.9 and 0.6 FTE available

Under direct supervision, this position is accountable to the bedside RN and charge nurse to facilitate a safe and secure environment for the patient, family, and providers in the Emergency Services department. Responsibilities focus on maintaining a safe, hazard-free, clean environment that supports patient-focused care, while ensuring clear communication between the needs of the patient, the RN, and the charge nurse.

Responsibilities

• Support the bedside RN and charge nurse in delivering patient care.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and hazard-free environment for patients, families, and providers.
• Facilitate clear communication between the patient’s needs and the nursing team.
• Complete assigned duties for the shift in alignment with departmental goals.

Requirements

• National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association (required upon hire).
• Coursework or training in medical terminology, or successful completion of a hospital medical terminology test within 90 days of hire.
• 6 months of healthcare experience (preferred).

Pay

Base pay range: $20.00 - $29.08 per hour. The successful candidate’s placement on the wage range will be determined based on relevant job experience and other applicable factors.

• Night shift positions available.
• Full-Time (0.9 FTE) and Part-Time (0.6 FTE) options.
