Qualifications

  • Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma/GED and successful completion of patient care technician course within 3 months of hire.
  • Must have excellent communication skills, ability to follow oral instructions, basic computer skills, strong work ethics and accountability.
  • Must be able to lift 100 lbs. to waist height.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Certification as a nursing assistant or military corpsman, 1 year Patient care experience in acute care setting.

Additional Information

  • All new Patient Care Technicians are required to complete 5 weeks of training Monday - Friday 8:00AM - 5:00PM after being hired.
  • Employees in this role must be fitted for, capable of donning and performing routine tasks in personal protective equipment to include N95 masks, Powered Air Purifying Respirators (PAPR) or Controlled Air Purifying Respirators (CAPR).
