Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care under the direction and supervision of an RN or LPN.
Minimum Requirements
- One of the following:
- Six months of acute care experience
- One year of PCT/CNA experience in a skilled nursing or rehab facility
- Successful completion of a BayCare sponsored Nursing Assistant or PCT Internship
- Completion of Nursing Fundamentals (RN) or Nursing Foundation (LPN) Programs
- EMT certification/Paramedic license for ER only
- Completion of a PCT or Nursing Assistant program which includes at least 40 hours of an external clinical component
Preferred
- One year hospital related field experience
Required
- High School or Equivalent
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
