Patient Care Technician - Central Monitoring Unit

About the role

The Patient Care Technician provides a variety of indirect and direct care, including provision for patient's dependency needs such as nutrition, hygiene, safety and physical and psychological comfort measures, to patients and significant others, under the supervision of licensed nursing staff.

Responsibilities

• Perform job duties in accordance with mission, vision and values.
• Work in patient settings.
• Interact with patients, staff, physicians, family members and visitors.
• Lift, bend, stoop and be exposed to blood borne pathogens.
• Perform tasks involving exposure to blood and potentially infectious body fluids.

Requirements

• High school diploma or G.E.D.
• Florida CNA certification.

Qualifications

• Full-time position.
• Primary location in Tampa.
• Eligible for remote work on site.
• On-site shift from 7P-7A.

Skills

• Ability to provide indirect and direct care.
• Knowledge of patient dependency needs.
• Experience working in patient settings.
• Ability to interact with various stakeholders.
