Patient Care Technician

About the role

Provide direct patient care under the supervision of registered nurses. Assist in maintaining a clean and safe environment. Perform basic patient care tasks including but not limited to assisting with hygiene, medication administration, and monitoring vital signs.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Administer medications as per physician’s orders and hospital policy
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of patient rooms and areas
• Monitor patients’ conditions and report significant changes to nursing staff
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Current CPR certification
• Experience in a healthcare setting preferred

Qualifications

• Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Physical ability to perform tasks requiring standing, bending, lifting up to 50 pounds

Pay
