Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or Equivalent
• Ability to Read and Write
• One of the Following:
• Junior Status in an Accredited BSN Program
• Second Year in an Accredited ADN Program
• Bachelor's Degree in Applied Medical Science
• Minimum 1-Year Recent Experience in an Unlicensed Assistive Role in a Patient Care Setting (e.g., Nurse Aide in a Hospital Setting)
• Minimum Two Years Experience in an Unlicensed Assistive Role in a Patient Care Setting in a Nursing Home or Other Healthcare Environment
• Ability to Perform a Wide Range of Physical Activities Including Moving, Transporting, and Positioning Patients and Equipment as Well as Constantly Positioning Self to Provide Patient Care and Related Duties

Desired Qualifications

• Certification as a Nurse Aid or Medical Assistant
• Recent Experience in an Acute Care Inpatient Setting
• Basic Computer Skills
