Patient Care Tech Training Program

NKC Health Campus Will Host a Paid PCT Program Designed To Train Participants To Start a Career As a Patient Care Tech. The Program Consists Of Classroom Training Immediately Followed By Clinical Instruction.

• Learn How To Provide patient care, such as ambulation, bathing and toileting
• Work closely with nurses and other members of the care team
• Obtain vital signs
• Safely transfer patients
• Accurately document patient vital signs and verify patient information
• Support patient needs through timely response to call systems

Required Qualifications

• Internal candidates: Employed with NKC Health for at least 180 days and be in good standing in your department and will be subject to all internal transfer policies.
• Employees who have current progressive discipline within the last 12-month period will only be considered if the hiring panel is willing to interview the candidate.

Program Information

• Start date: Monday, August 31st 2026
• 100% attendance required
• 18 month work commitment once you have completed the program
• Length of program: 175hrs
• Combination of Clinical Classroom & On site Acute Care clinical instruction
