What You'll Do
- Function in patient care assistant and/or unit secretary role
- Support the nursing staff and patient care through the direction and guidance of licensed staff and leaders
- Cover clerical activities for the unit/staff in coordination with patients, hospital departments, physicians and other customers
- Coordinate communication on the nursing unit
Preferred Requirements
- Completion of clerical or medical terminology course
- Patient Care Assistant (PCA) or Certified Nurse Assistant (C.N.A.) course completion certificate
- Or, currently enrolled in an RN degree program and have completed a fundamentals of nursing curriculum
