About the role

This position is a Patient Care Tech role at St. Vincent’s Medical Center in Bridgeport, CT. The role is a Per Diem position requiring the employee to work at least one holiday a year.

Qualifications

• No experience required, training provided on-site.
• Successfully completed PCT specific HHC orientation.
• Certified BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) within 2 Months (60 days) of hire date or job transfer date.
• A high school diploma or GED is preferred.
• Some relevant experience in an acute care hospital environment is preferred.
• A current certified BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association is preferred.
• Certification as a CNA, CPCT/A, EMT, or CMA is preferred for advancement in the PCT clinical ladder.
