Patient Care Tech (Per Diem)

About the Role

Supports patient care under the supervision of a Nurse Leader by performing direct and indirect activities that ensure a safe and efficient care environment.

Responsibilities

• Executes selected interventions and contributes to comprehensive patient care.
• Promotes a positive patient experience.
• Works in a high-activity environment with multiple priorities, requiring flexibility in scheduling.

Requirements

• No experience necessary; training provided.
• Successful completion of hospital orientation.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association within 60 days of hire.
• High school diploma or GED is preferred.
• Experience in acute care is a plus.
• Must work at least one holiday annually.

Qualifications

• Certifications as CNA, CPCT/A, EMT, or CMA can support career advancement.
