Responsibilities

• Assists nursing service personnel with a variety of patient care activities and related services necessary in caring for the personal needs and comfort of patients
• Assists with personal hygiene, takes vital signs, and changes bed linens
• May serve and collect food trays, provide for between-meal nourishment
• Cleans, sterilizes, stores, and prepares supplies

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Current Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (American Red Cross or American Heart Association); if American Red Cross, must obtain American Heart Association within 60 days of hire
• Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) Certification within 90 days of hire/transfer

Preferred Qualifications

• Acute care and/or previous clinical experience
• Prior basic experience performing clerical or customer service duties with prior HUC training/experience in a clinical setting
• Ability to use computer-driven patient care equipment
