Responsibilities
- Assist nursing service personnel with a variety of patient care activities and related services necessary in caring for the personal needs and comfort of patients.
- Assist with personal hygiene, take vital signs, and change bed linens.
- Serve and collect food trays; provide between‑meal nourishment.
- Clean, sterilize, store, and prepare supplies.
- Apply knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within the field.
Qualifications
- Minimum education: High School Diploma or GED (required).
- Minimum experience: None required; acute care and/or previous clinical experience preferred.
- Required licenses/certifications:
- Current Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (American Red Cross or American Heart Association). If American Red Cross, must obtain American Heart Association within 60 days of hire.
