About the role
The Patient Care Tech assists patients with activities of daily living and provides basic nursing care to meet the physical, emotional, and social needs of the patient. Serves as a clinical preceptor to Nursing Assistants & PCTs and is cross-trained to Unit Associate. Assists with maintenance of a safe and clean unit environment. Performs miscellaneous duties as assigned.
Up to $6,000 sign-on bonus for qualified candidates, paid over 24 months.
Requirements
- High School diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Florida-issued CNA license, or completion of first semester of Registered Nurse program
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association (required)
- Certified Nursing Assistant certification from an approved program (preferred)
- CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) must be obtained within 90 days of hire or transfer into role date
