Lovelace Regional Hospital includes 24/7 emergency services, intensive care, inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation, and surgical and birthing services for Roswell and the surrounding community.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic patient care under the direction of nursing and medical staff in an entry‑level position.
• Assist patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, eating, and other ADLs.
• Observe patients’ progress and prepare/disseminate reports to registered nurses or other medical staff.
• Obtain and record patients' vital signs and collect specimens for lab tests.
• Provide basic patient transport and housekeeping duties.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in phlebotomy or completion of a phlebotomy course.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• 1 year of experience in acute or long‑term care.
• Working toward an approved CNA, PCT, or paramedic (EMT‑P) certification.
