This role assists nursing service personnel with a variety of patient care activities and related services necessary for the personal needs and comfort of patients. Responsibilities include assisting with personal hygiene, taking vital signs, changing bed linens, serving and collecting food trays, providing between-meal nourishment, and cleaning, sterilizing, storing, and preparing supplies.
Full-time and part-time positions are available for Days, Nights, and Evening shifts across facilities in Framingham and Natick.
Candidates must successfully complete a background check and pre-employment health screening, including a drug screen. Tenet complies with federal, state, and local laws regarding mandatory vaccination of its workforce. Proof of full vaccination or an approved exemption is required prior to the start date.
Responsibilities
- Assist with patient personal hygiene and comfort.
- Take and record vital signs.
- Change bed linens.
- Serve and collect food trays; provide between-meal nourishment.
- Clean, sterilize, store, and prepare supplies.
- Perform duties based on instructions and pre-established guidelines under immediate supervision.
- Report to a registered nurse or supervisor.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- CPR certification (AHA BLS).
- CNA license, home health certification, PCA certification, or completion of clinicals in a nursing program.li>
- EMT license (preferred).
- 6 months of hospital experience (preferred).
Pay
$15.00 - $20.43 hourly. Individual wages are determined based on qualifications and experience.
