Organization Description

MetroWest Medical Center has been serving the community since we opened as the first public medical facility in Framingham in 1893. MetroWest Medical Center is comprised of Framingham Union Hospital and Leonard Morse Hospital, a unique behavioral health specialty center located in Natick dedicated to the mental health of our community.

Position Summary

Assists nursing service personnel with a variety of patient care activities and related services necessary in caring for the personal needs and comfort of patients. Assists with personal hygiene, takes vital signs, and changes bed linens. May serve and collect food trays, provide for between-meal nourishment, and clean, sterilize, store, and prepare other supplies. Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Works under immediate supervision. Typically reports to a registered nurse or supervisor.

Education and Certifications Required

• High school diploma or GED
• CPR
• CNA license, home health certification, or PCA certification

Pay and Schedule

Full Time and Part Time positions available for Days, Nights, and Evening shifts within departments across the facilities in Framingham and in Natick.
