Role Overview The Patient Care Tech III provides direct patient care under the supervision of licensed clinicians, assisting with daily activities, monitoring high-risk patients, and ensuring a safe environment. They communicate observations to nurses, assist with patient mobility, hygiene, and nourishment, and participate in de-escalation and restraint procedures when necessary. Responsibilities Communicate patient status changes clearly to the healthcare team.Maintain constant observation of high-risk patients.Support patient safety and assist with interventions.Aid with personal care, mobility, and transportation of patients.Adhere to departmental policies, participate in meetings, and promote a respectful, safe environment. Qualifications & Skills High school diploma or GED; current Basic Life Support certification.Experience in acute care, EMT, or similar roles; competency in medical terminology and computer skills.Strong communication, interpersonal, problem-solving skills, and ability to remain calm under stress.Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand, walk, and perform heavy-duty tasks.
