Part Time - Patient Care Technician

About the role

We are seeking a Patient Care Technician to support a high-acuity intermediate care unit.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient admissions, discharges, and daily activities
• Monitor vital signs and draw blood
• Provide bedside care such as bathing, ambulating, and Foley catheter care
• Support nurses during bedside procedures
• Meet patient needs under supervision

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Certifications like CNA, NCMA, NCPCT, or completion of relevant training programs
• Preferably one year of healthcare experience
• Current BLS certification within 90 days
