About the role
Position: Patient Care Tech in the Operating Room department. Responsibilities
- Participate in the provision of safe, quality patient care as delegated by the Registered Nurse through support of standards and philosophies of Genesis Medical Center.
- Provide assistance to nursing staff and physicians in various patient care and non-patient care activities.
- Perform tasks in a caring and efficient manner that supports customer service.
- Assist with department-related housekeeping.
- Assist with supply, equipment, and facility maintenance tasks.
Requirements
- No experience required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) training required.
Qualifications
- Preferred: previous experience, healthcare student, CNA certification, medical terminology knowledge.
- Education: High School diploma/GED or equivalent experience.
Schedule
1st shift, full-time (40 hours per week), with rotating weekends and rotating holidays.
