About the role
Join Our Dynamic Med-Surg Team at Piedmont Walton Our 24-bed Medical-Surgical unit offers a fast-paced, hands-on environment caring for a wide range of adult patients, including those with orthopedic needs, general and bariatric surgeries, cardiac/telemetry monitoring, and complex medical conditions. RN-to-patient ratios typically range from 1:56 and PCTs from 1:69, allowing for meaningful, team-based patient care.
Responsibilities
- Provides care to patients from birth through the lifecycle, demonstrating competency with treatments, procedures and equipment appropriate to the clinical setting and hospital policy.
Qualifications
- Education: H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Preferred
- Work Experience: No experience required, 1 year of patient care experience Preferred
- Licenses and Certifications: BCLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required, CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant Preferred, Certification from a Patient Care Technician program Preferred
