Patient Care Tech - MedSurg, FT, Nights

Overview

Location: Thomson, GA.

Schedule

Three twelve‑hour shifts per week, with rotating weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

The Patient Care Technician, under the supervision of licensed clinical staff, provides care to patients from birth through the lifecycle, demonstrating competency with treatments, procedures, and equipment appropriate to the clinical setting and hospital policy.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED) – required.
• Work Experience: Minimum 1 year of patient‑care experience in a facility setting – required.
• Licenses and Certifications:
  • BLS – Basic Life Support (required upon hire).
  • CNA – Certified Nursing Assistant (preferred).
  • Certification from a Patient Care Technician program (preferred).
