Night shift. Available shift hours: 7:00 am – 7:00 pm.

Status: Full‑time days, with every other weekend and three holidays per year required for both full‑time and part‑time team members.

Position Purpose

Under the direction of a registered nurse, the patient care technician provides direct patient care while considering age‑specific, developmental, cultural, and spiritual needs. The role demonstrates unit‑designated competencies and helps maintain a clean, safe, and supportive environment that promotes patient and family well‑being through relationship‑based care.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Preferred: minimum of one year of direct‑care experience (acute or long‑term) or successful completion of a CENA, PCT, MA, or EMT course or completion of nursing fundamentals in a BSN program (for student nurses)

What You Will Do

• Perform nursing care as delegated by the RN to achieve treatment goals
• Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Demonstrate sterile or aseptic technique when performing delegated activities
• Help establish and maintain a clean, safe patient care environment
• Record patient information and required data to meet documentation and charging requirements
• Complete delegated unit‑specific activities
