Patient Care Tech III, 5 Tower, Telemetry, Part Time, Day Shift

Job Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• C Nurse Aide Certification OR passed fundamentals in RN/LPN school OR completed Surg Tech or EMT course OR completed 2-year Health Science Technology Program OR completed Patient Care Tech course OR successfully completed the SRH PCT program, OR Graduate of an accredited nursing assistant program, certification eligible.
• Must achieve certification within 3 months of hire.
• BLS certified.

Requirements for PCT II:

• Worked in at least 2 units independently;
• Delivered one in-service or participated in one special project;
• Was a positive role model for students/peers;
• Was a preceptor if needed.

Requirements for PCT III:

• Worked in at least 3 units independently or covered 2+ roles;
• Delivered/participated in two in-services and/or special projects;
• Was a positive role model for students/peers;
• Was a preceptor.
