Job Summary

Patient Care Techs provide personal care, health-related services, and assist with activities of daily living. Patient Care Techs function under the direction, instruction, and supervision of nursing staff. Patient Care Techs have a professional obligation to participate in committee activities, surveys, improvement initiatives, and continuing education.

Requirements

• Minimum Education: High School or equivalent
• Minimum Work Experience: No previous experience
• Required Licenses/Certifications: Patient Care Tech Orientation; BLS – should not initiate patient contact until completed
• OSHA Category: 1 – High Risk
