Patient Care Tech - Full Time Nights Parsons

About the Role

Labette Health, an award-winning, not-for-profit hospital, is seeking a compassionate and dependable Patient Care Tech to join our Inpatient Rehab team on the night shift (7pm-7am, 3x 12-hour shifts per week).

As a PCT, you will play a vital role in supporting our nursing staff by assisting with basic patient care needs and ensuring a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for patients.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living (bathing, grooming, toileting, feeding, mobility).
• Take and record vital signs and input/output measurements.
• Provide support during patient transfers and ambulation.
• Communicate changes in patient condition to nursing staff.
• Ensure patient rooms and equipment are clean and properly maintained.
• Offer compassionate, respectful care to patients and families.

Requirements

• Current Kansas CNA certification preferred, not required.
• BLS certification (or willing to obtain upon hire).
• Previous hospital experience preferred, not required.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Reliable, caring, and detail-oriented.

Schedule

Night shift: 7pm–7am, 3x 12-hour shifts per week.
